About The Series: On April 6, 2013 ABC announced that the show would be titled Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.On May 10, 2013, ABC announced that it had officially picked up the series.In a June 2013 interview, Clark Gregg explained how the TV series would tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe films: "...the exciting part is going to be seeing the way that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. interacts with the S.H.I.E.L.D. component in Captain America 2, and the other movies, and whether those movies will then affect our show." Jed Whedon said the TV series will work in tandem with the Marvel films, both past and upcoming. “We plan on trying to weave in between the films and try to make them more rewarding on both ends,” said Whedon.On July 9, 2013, Maurissa Tancharoen revealed on her Twitter page that Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, Jeff Bell, Paul Zbyszewski, Monica Breen, Brent Fletcher, Lauren LeFranc, Rafe Judkins and Shalisha Francis would be the writers for the series. On July 15, 2013, composer Bear McCreary confirmed that he would compose music for the series. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sharing continuity with the films in that franchise. It revolves around the character of Phil Coulson, with Clark Gregg reprising the role.A pilot, written by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen, and directed by Joss Whedon, was given the green light in late 2012 and filmed in early 2013. The series was officially ordered on May 10, 2013 and premiered on September 24, 2013.Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Episode Summary:
This week kicks off with all of the eliminated contestants returning to weigh-in, and one lucky player getting the chance to return to the competition. Then it's off to a grueling kettle bell beach challenge that promises the winning player a hefty prize. Fan favorite and former "Biggest Loser" contestant Abby Rike pays a visit to the ranch and inspires the players with her own "Second Chance" story. Later, the contestants head to the race track for words of encouragement and a fun workout with popular NASCAR driver Carl Edwards. Then one player reaches "One-derland" at the weigh-in and another is sent home before host Alison Sweeney gives the remaining contestants some very exciting news.

About The Show: The show is in its twelfth season (normally the show features two seasons per year); Season 11 premiered on January 4, 2011.Season 12 premiered on September 20, 2011.Each season of The Biggest Loser starts with a weigh-in to determine the contestants' starting weights, which serve as the baseline for determining the overall winner. The contestants are grouped into teams of two, each wearing separate colored t-shirts. Depending on the season a team may work with a specific trainer or all trainers may work with all contestants. The trainers are responsible for designing comprehensive workout and nutrition plans and teaching them to the contestants. However, the contestants are individually responsible for implementing the principles taught. During an episode, various challenges and temptations (see below) are featured.Those sent home early compete for a smaller prize while those on the show compete for a larger prize and the title of "The Biggest Loser".....Reality series in which 12 contestants become roommates under the same roof and struggle to shed excess pounds by following a disciplined routine of exercise and dieting while facing the possibility of elimination.
