Episode Summary:
Sean will bedazzle this week as he strives to be a more involved dad at Ellie's school. At the same time Liz and Hunter discover something unsettling when they become temporary roommates. Max searches for a heartbreak diversion.

Series Genl Info: The comedy airs on NBC as part of the 2013–14 American television season. The series premiered on October 3, 2013, and airs in the Thursday 9 pm time slot. The series first appeared as part of the NBC development slate in December 2012, with Sean Hayes attached to star. On January 22, 2013, NBC placed a pilot order under the title Happiness. The pilot was written by Victor Fresco and directed by James Burrows. Burrows had previously worked with Hayes on his previous series, Will & Grace. On May 9, 2013, NBC placed a series order, under the new title Sean Saves the World. Two days after the series order, Lindsay Sloane exited the role of Liz. Shortly after, Megan Hilty was cast in the vacated role....Sean's a divorced dad who's trying to juggle it all. From his overbearing boss and offbeat employees at work - to his pushy mom and weekends with his teenage daughter at home - handling it all is no easy task. So when Ellie, his 14-year-old bundle of joy, moves in full-time, it's a whole new challenge. Never one to do anything halfway, Sean's intent on being the best dad ever - so he loads up on parenting how-to books and plans Pinterest-worthy family dinners. But it seems his company's new owner has decided Sean and his team should work longer hours, throwing a kink in his perfectly constructed homemaking plans. Ellie, a normal girl who wants to hang with her friends and eat on the run, sees this development as a plus. She loves her dad, but he's clearly going overboard. From keeping his boss happy, his employees motivated and enduring his mother's tactless "advice" to raising a smart, grounded and healthy kid, it's going to be a growing experience, to say the least. But if anyone can swing it, it's Sean......The show has received mixed reviews from critics. Southampton V Aston Villa at St Mary's Stadium Wednesday 4th Dec 2013, kick-off 19:45 (GMT).  Southampton have a glut of injuries, particularly with goalkeeper Artur Boruc out with a broken hand and fellow keeper Kelvin Davis also absent. French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has a groin injury, while the trio of Gaston Ramirez, Danny Fox and Guly do Prado are also unavailable.
Aston Villa forward Andreas Weimann is a doubt with a tight hamstring picked up in Saturday's draw with Sunderland.Otherwise Paul Lambert has no new injury concerns.

It just shows how difficult it's going to be for them to maintain their superb start to the season to try and challenge for those precious Champions League spots that executive chairman Nicola Cortese so covets.
In their last two games they've been beaten by the top two teams in the Premier League but by no means disgraced, sharing possession almost equally with Arsenal and Chelsea over the 90 minutes.
Artur Boruc's comical 'Cruyff turn' at the Emirates didn't help them but he will be sorely missed with his hand injury because he's been a vital part of the most miserly defence in the division - Southampton, like Arsenal, conceding just 10 goals so far in 13 games and just two of those at home.
No pressure then for 21 year-old Paulo Gazzaniga, who looks like he will step in.
Christian Benteke might fancy testing him out early on - after four goals in his first four league appearances this season the big Belgian hasn't found the net in his last seven games and a handful of Villa fans even had the temerity to jeer him when he was taken off late on in the goalless draw against Sunderland on Saturday. How quickly some can forget.
But despite Villa failing to score in five of their last seven league games they bring an impressive away record to St Mary's - beaten just once on their travels in six games this season. They've won at Arsenal and Norwich, and the only defeat came at Chelsea when they got very unlucky with a couple of second-half refereeing decisions.

Paul Lambert's side have failed to score in five of their last seven matches.
With five clean sheets in 2013-14, Villa have equalled the number of shut-outs they recorded during the whole of last season.
Christian Benteke, who celebrated his 23rd birthday on Tuesday, has now gone seven games without a goal for Villa.
